Z-height adjuster for Ortur laser master 2 pro has two main purposes

1. Make the focal adjustment easier.
2. Lengthen the moving range of the laser module in the z-axis direction.

How to Adjust the Focus for Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro Laser Engraving Machine?

Without the Z-height adjuster, when adjusting the focus for Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro, you need 3 steps

Step 1: Loosen the thumbscrew on the right of the laser module

Step 2: Move the laser module up and down until getting the smallest laser spot

Step 3: Tighten the thumbscrew

With the Z-height adjuster, when adjusting the focus for Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro, you only need to twist the knob.

• Twistclockwise to slide up the laser module
• Twistcounterclockwise to slide down the laser module

Why Do You Need A Longer Z-axis Moving Range?

When engraving on the surface of thick material, you need to lift the laser module higher. Because the Z-height adjuster leaves more space above the laser module, it lengthens the moving range of the laser module in the z-axis direction for about 12mm, making it possible to engrave on thicker materials.
